A vibrant Saturday for the whole familia.
Familia Fest is a high-energy, family-centered activation built into the heart of the SHPE National Convention. Free and open to the public, it welcomes K–12 students, parents, educators, and the broader Indianapolis community for a day of hands-on exploration and meaningful connection.
Open to all families regardless of background — no one is turned away.
A pipeline from curiosity to college.
Familia Fest is the Saturday centerpiece — but it sits within a larger week of community programming designed to meet families where they are.

Pavilions, partners, and Familia Plaza moments.
The footprint combines a Familia Plaza, interactive STEM zones, a college recruiting pavilion, and a community resource hub. The categories below are examples of the kinds of partners we would love to bring together for the pilot year — not confirmed participants. If your organization fits one of these areas (or one we haven’t listed yet), we want to talk.
Have a partnership idea that isn’t on this list? Reach out — the pilot year is intentionally open to community-driven ideas.
