Familia Fest is how SHPE lives out that mission in Indianapolis — creating a space where families see themselves as future engineers, scientists, and technologists, and where the community rallies around them.

Familia Fest takes place at the SHPE National Convention.
The SHPE National Convention is one of the country’s largest annual gatherings of STEM students and professionals — and Indianapolis will host it in 2026, 2029, and 2032. Familia Fest is the free, family-facing community activation inside that convention footprint.
